Apply for an Active Life

I’m older than I would ever want to admit, but you certainly wouldn’t know it. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t go in for bad hair dye or anything cheesy like that. Instead, I exercise regularly and take good care of my body. I play in a recreational basketball league once a week, and on the weekends I referee high school games. To be honest, by the end of the week I’m usually feeling the effects of a grueling physical schedule.

I typically apply some joint pain relief cream to the site of the inflammation. That way, I’ll be ready to get right back into the grind. The process takes less than a minute, and I put a tub of cream in my locker at the gym and another in my bathroom at home. It keeps the pain away, and I haven’t lost a step in years.

Don’t Let Arthritis Keep You Down

A relatively common condition among aging individuals, arthritis can put a significant damper on physical activity. Osteoarthritis, the most widespread form, is caused by a combination of trauma to joints and the natural aging process. Rheumatoid arthritis, another well-known variant, occurs when the body’s immune system inflames joints and cartilage in an effort to ward off disease.

No matter the specific type of arthritis, the condition is characterized by debilitating pain. A variety of treatment options exist, and the best solution may very on a case-by-case basis. For some people, a lifestyle change such as a healthier diet or increased exercise regimen does the trick. Others turn to topical creams for their arthritis pain relief. Either way, arthritis should be treated at its earliest signs so that the sufferer can get back to the business of living.
